Bamboo from “Old Faithful”
I have found so many useful FREE things on Craigslist. My latest find. Free Bamboo!
It is pretty expensive. So when I found out that the property where “Old Faithful Geyser” is located in the town of Calistoga had an entire acre of bamboo they were giving away…I was so there!
Calistoga is in the Northern most area of Napa Valley..just a short drive over a steep hill.
They are remodeling so to speak …and they had all this bamboo die.
There was a lot of it.
So I picked and the hubs piled and sorted.
I have wanted to make a bean teepee for the boys. The school garden also wanted to make a teepee. So I got some for them as well.
Bonus we got to see the Baby Fainting Goats…just 2 weeks old…too cute!
Hubs was not too thrilled with the view…but we managed the hill and got home safe and sound…with bamboo…
Delivered to school garden today…and we will make our teepee on the weekend! So excited!
Peace Love and Teepees!
